Who We Are

We are a middle and high school racing team and part of the SoCal Youth Cycling League. While we are a competitive team, our primary goal is to get kids out on bikes and having fun on two wheels. Racing happens from sixth grade to twelfth grade, but interested students in younger grades are welcome to join and start their training early.

The “composite” nature of our team means that students from any school in Northern Los Angeles County is welcome, regardless of the school they attend. Homeschooled students can also join.

All skill levels are welcome! We’ll teach complete beginners how to ride and get experienced racers to the next level.

How the Season Works

Registration with the SoCal league typically opens October 1 each year. Some light practicing and social events will occur shortly after, but our practices really start in January: Tuesday and Thursday afternoons/evenings and Saturday mornings every week. Riders are separated by skill levels, with beginners learning necessary skills and how to safely ride the trails, while advanced riders are putting in hard miles to get even faster. The first race takes place in early February and the season wraps up in April.
